Swatch Celebrates 100 Years Of Bauhaus With These Watches

Aug 9, 2019

Category: Style

Founded by Walter Gropius, Bauhaus, which means “school of building,” is arguably the most influential style of design in history. The Bau Swatch Watch Collection celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus school that was operational from 1919 to 1933.

There are 25 watches in the collection with a variety of colorways and designs to choose from. All the timepieces are inspired by the Bauhaus approach, as the collection features clean, minimalist designs, abstract shapes, and balanced forms. Each modern watch in the collection has a quartz movement, silicone strap, and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. There are plenty of unique timekeepers in the lineup, but one of our favorites is the watch entitled Black-One, featuring a clean black strap and case along with blue, yellow, and red details, paying tribute to the Bauhaus color theory. All watches in the collection are available now, starting at $65.

Purchase: $65+
