Barn Find: Restored 1969 Porsche 912

Discovered after spending the good part of two decades in a Southern Oregon barn, this 1969 Porsche 912 5-speed beauty was fully restored to excellent condition after nearly three and a half years of hard work. Now, this vintage ride is up for sale and comes complete with the original owners manual and a clean Oregon title.

It was through a rigorous restoration process that the 912 was rehabilitated, beginning with a bare metal repaint to its original Irish Green. Next, the 1,582cc flat-four pushrod engine was balanced and blueprinted during the restoration – now featuring a counter-weighted steel crankshaft with a matching set of balanced rods along with new pistons and cylinders. Also, the interior of the ride was completely refurbished by Autobahn Interiors, a majority of the nuts and bolts keeping everything in one piece were re-zinced, rubber seals replaced, an aluminum rack was fitted to the roof and 15×5.5” ventilated steel wheels complete with chrome hubcaps are wrapped in a set of Falken Ziex tires with only 1,500 miles logged on them. Current bid sits at 43,500 at time of publishing.
