The Premium Beosound Stage Is Bang & Olufsen’s First-Ever Soundbar

It’s odd to think that Bang & Olufsen, one of the premium audio industry’s most revered companies, has never released a soundbar. Now, the outfit has finally taken note of the void in its well-rounded catalog by introducing the Beosound Stage — a high-end entertainment peripheral that stays true to the old homage, “it’s better late than never.”

In true Bang & Olufsen fashion, the Beosound Stage gives light to a variety of attributes that make it a standout piece in the realm of full-fledged audio, including three-channel stereo sound, 11 separate power amplifiers, and a handful of independent driver units that contribute to the system’s deep, rich tones. Like most of the company’s offerings, the Beosound Stage’s sleek, slimline design pairs well with the speaker’s technical offerings, boasting built-in Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, Chromecast, Airplay 2, and integration with Dolby’s Atmos and TrueHD, allowing listeners to utilize the bar in separate rooms throughout the home. You’ll be able to pick up the Beosound Stage in either a metal or wood enclosure — each with their own signature B&O style — in autumn of 2019.
