Bang & Olufsen’s Beolit 20 Speaker Gets A Better Battery & Wireless Charging

Category: Tech

Bang & Olufsen has already enamored audio consumers with its Beolit range, offering its renowned tuning, architecture, and sound reproduction in a sleek, compact speaker. Now, the brand has taken it upon themselves to renovate the connected model with an integrated wireless charging system and improved battery life.

Marketed as the Beolit 20, this newly-devised portable speaker is a direct copy of the Beolit 17. Instead of the latter’s six-hour battery life, however, the 20 will feature an improved eight-hour playback time, while boasting a few interesting features that make it an unabated improvement over its predecessor. Alongside its improved battery life, the Beolit will incorporate a Qi-enabled wireless charging system into its architecture, allowing listeners to boost the longevity of their handheld devices for prolonged periods of play. You’ll even be able to pair them (via Bluetooth) with other Beolit models to create your own immersive soundscape. Head to Bang & Olufsen’s website to pick up one of your own for $500.
