Bang & Olufsen has been creating genre-defining headphones for longer than most of us can remember, and this year, they’ve decided to remind us with a limited-edition anniversary offering. To celebrate 95 years of greatness, the Danish brand has decided to introduce the H95 — a luxurious, premium audio peripheral for its most committed connoisseurs.
As you might expect, the H95 is an amalgamation of the brand’s performance-focused headphone offerings; but it’s also one of its most lavish. Each numbered pair will feature active noise cancelation, lightweight aluminum housing, and lambskin leather earpieces, touting unparalleled comfort and prestigious aesthetics. Inside, a pair of neodymium-enhanced 40mm titanium drivers make their debut, providing the rich sound quality that we’ve come to know and love from B&O’s alternative offerings. Since most buyers will utilize the headphones with their Active Noise Cancellation enabled, you can expect up to 38 hours of wireless playback per charge; an impressive number, especially when compared to the sub-16-hour battery life of many of the genre’s in-ear offerings. Only 95 pairs are slated for production, so head to the brand’s website to pick up your own for $800.
