B&O Increases Its Adaptive ANC Headphones’ Battery To 40 Hours

Last September, Bang & Olufsen unveiled its Beoplay H95 model, the Danish firm’s new top-of-the-line flagship over-ear headphones and unequivocally one of the finest pairs of ANC headphones that money can currently buy. And after the more recent release of Apple’s Airpods Max, B&O has now taken aim at the Silicone Valley powerhouse with the debut of the new Beoplay HX over-ear headphones.

Penned by Chicago’s MINIMAL Inc. Design (or “MNML”), the Beoplay HX is beautifully crafted from a combination of polymer, lambskin and cowhide leathers, machined anodized aluminum, and fabric and is offered in three color options. A pair of custom-tuned 40mm electro-dynamic drivers with neodymium magnets and a stellar frequency response affords ultra-crisp, hi-fi-quality audio which is made all the better through the use of hybrid adaptive active noise cancelation tech, and a fully customizable EQ. Protected by a three-year warranty, the headphone also boasts a 1,110mAh Lithium-ion battery that affords up to 40 hours of playback time, or 35 hours with ANC activated — which is nearly double that of the previous edition. Available now, the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay HX headphones are priced at $499
