Aftermarket watch modifications have been around for a while now, but it is only recently that they’ve begun to gain more acceptance from watch makers themselves. Not long ago Zenith forged a partnership with Bamford Watch Department, and now Tag Heuer is following suit.
The famed Swiss watch maker has made three of their models available to be modified through BWD; their Carrera, Moncao, and Autavia. Bamford has a series of in-house designs to offer up, along with a special customization feature that allows buyers to pick and choose exactly what they want their watch to look like. Just about every component on each watch can be customized to the exact specifications of the buyer. Want a watch with green indices and an orange face? Maybe some purple subdials to top it off? We wouldn’t recommend it, but Tag Heuer and Bamford Watch Department will do it for you.
