Bailey Blade XTR American Supercar
Look, we love American built muscle – but when it comes to track ready super cars, we just don’t measure up to some of the other vehicles out there. The U.S.A. based team at BXR Motors is looking to change though, debuting their Bailey Blade XTR supercar.
Aesthetics wise, the 2-door is actually pretty good looking (looking like a Viper front end mated to a Morgan rear end), but it’s under the hood that has got us excited. The sports car is packed with a twin-turbo charged 5.0 liter V8 Coyote engine (yeah the same one used in the beloved Mustang). With some fine tuning, the team has increased power output to 750 horsepower, a setup that allows the Bailey Blade XTR to sprint from 0-60 miles per hour in just over 3 seconds, with a top speed of roughly 200 mph. The vehicle has also been outfitted with Brembo disc brakes all the way around, electric height adjustment shocks, and SLA suspension on all fours – a setup that we hope helps this thing corner like many of the foreign supercars we know and love. Expect the BXR Motors creation to hit the scene during the first half of 2014.
