Spearheaded by Tony Clark, the Australian based Swags for Homeless has been bringing shelter to the streets for years, and now the brand looks to bring their Backpack Bed to the retail scene.

Weighing in at a mere 6.4 pound, this is the world’s first backpack and bed rolled into one awesome unit. Originally the brand allowed consumers to donate $68, and they would provide one of these beds to homeless people in Australia, but after a ton of demand they have also decided to sell the bed to the public. Perfect for everything from camping to hiking, the backpack bed is crafted from a waterproof, fire retardant, mildew resistant material that has been outfitted with a 6’2″ insulated foam mattress for comfort. The bed can be used on the ground, and can even be suspended to elevate yourself from bugs and rodents.
