Autodromo Group B Series 2 Watches
When it comes to rally car racing, Group B was the golden age — marked by high-speed insanity and some really incredible advancements in automotive technology. And while Autodromo had already paid tribute to that maniacal era with their original Group B watches, they’ve just unveiled a trio of updates (a Group B of its own, you might say) that really capture the spirit of their inspiration.
A complete re-engineering of the original release, Series 2 is marked by a case constructed of lightweight and ultra-tough titanium mated to a seamlessly-integrated 23mm tapered stainless steel band. To further the homage, the dials of all three models were based on the racing tachometer of the iconic Lancia 037 Rally car. The resulting look screams the 1980s in all the right ways, but the tech within is all modern — each of these watches is powered by a Miyota 9015 automatic movement. Available in three different styles — orange and white ones with polished cases and bands, as well as a special matte-finished “Night Stage” option — these handsome throwback watches start at $975 a piece.
