Audi Q3 Camping Tent by Heimplanet

We’ve seen a trend in vehicle based tents over the past few seasons, and the German auto makers at Audi are looking to capitalize with this camping tent designed specifically for their A3 Quattro.

Of course Audi couldn’t do it alone. They teamed up with one of our favorite tent makers in Heimplanet to make the concept a reality. Like Heimplanet’s other models, the A3 tent is completely inflatable, taking just 7 minutes to be ready for the outdoors. While you can use it as an extension to your SUV, the tent can also serve as independent structure, with the ability to withstand wind speeds exceeding 40 miles per hour. Right now the project is being called a concept, but as people crave more of those outdoor experience we loved from our childhood, we’d be willing to bet that this concept makes its way to the production line.
