Audi is stealing the spotlight with their new range of electric vehicles, but their latest addition to the lineup is a compact commuter, allowing you to zip around the concrete jungle. The Audi E-Tron Scooter is a city cruising electrified ride that incorporates the design of a skateboard.
Instead of two wheels, the E-Tron Scooter uses four, giving you more stability and cleaner steering. According to Audi, you’ll have one hand free and the handling will make it feel like you’re surfing a wave. Its steering handle houses the battery and electronics, as well as the display that informs you of the battery life. By twisting the grip, you can accelerate or pump the brakes on a dime. It has a 12.5-mile range, which is achieved through the e-scooter recovering kinetic energy when you brake. However, it also has a hydraulic foot brake for additional safety. And with a top speed of 12.5 mph, you can cut down on time getting around the city. The 26-pound scooter can be folded up and stored in the trunk when not in use and is available with a variety of decks, including wood and carbon. The Audi E-Tron Scooter will drop in 2020 for $2,240.
