Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro Concept

The Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro is based on the S3 sedan and yet another example of how the word “concept” reminds us how it also means “patience.”

Replacing the S3’s 2.0 liter TFSI engine with a five-cylinder turbocharged power version, this ferocious four-door fun-maker generates 525 horsepower and 442.5 lb‑ft of torque, adding up to a 0 to 62 mph time of 3.6 seconds with a very NASCAR-esque top speed of 193 mph. The action is controlled with a seven‑speed S tronic gearbox, and the massive 21-inch wheels get the last word in. Among the notable cosmetic touches are matrix LED headlights, a matte aluminum finish, a wide carbon fiber-reinforced polymer diffuser, high-gloss black honeycomb rear insert,  and a brand new suspension system. Now, we just wait and watch.
