Category: Rides

Undeniably one of the coolest actors to grace the silver-screen, Steve McQueen was a passionate gearhead who developed an impressive collection of automotive gems. One of the beautiful vehicles he owned is this retro surf green 1953 Hudson Hornet Sedan, and now, it needs an owner to keep the seat warm.

The Hudson Hornet model was once a triumphant race car in the early days of NASCAR thanks in part to its lower center of gravity for improved traction on the road. Purchased in the mid-70s by McQueen, the vehicle comes with the original blue and yellow California license plates the car sported during the time McQueen was in possession of the beautiful machine. The car is mostly original, including its 308 flathead straight-six engine, which was rebuilt during McQueen’s ownership. This hot ride driven by “The King of Cool” himself has a reserve set between $100,000 and $200,00.

Purchase: $200,000
