Auction Block: Paul Walker’s 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback

Paul Walker, the late movie star, perished in a terrible and unfortunate accident in 2013. And while he will certainly be remembered for his on-screen work, especially in the Fast & Furious franchise, those who are more intimately familiar with him know he was actually a huge car fanatic in real life, too, with an impressive collection of motor vehicles. Now, one of his exceptional rides, a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback, is headed to auction.

Aside from its previous ownership, this classic pony car has plenty going for it. For starters, it still retains its factory Raven Black paint job, has its original V8 engine and transmission, is equipped with a competition suspension, and it has an impressively-low 14,575 miles on the odometer. On top of that, the interior is practically immaculate with black vinyl bucket seats, wood detailing, and — believe it or not — an AM radio. It’s rare to find one of these in such good condition and even harder to find one with this pedigree. Mecum has yet to announce an expected auction price.
