Mike Tyson will go down in history as one of the greatest boxers of all time. And his prowess in the ring brought him plenty in the way of spending cash, as well. With the ridiculous surplus of scratch in his pockets, he did what any red-blooded man would do: he bought a car. His choice of vehicle? A 1995 Ferrari F50. Since the athlete accepted delivery of this prancing pony, they’ve parted ways and the car has changed hands a few time. And now, it’s going up for auction.
Even if this wasn’t the Champ’s vehicle, it would be worth a gander. It is, after all, an F1-inspired road racer with an impressive 520 brake-horsepower 4.7-liter V12 engine. That engine, by the way, can get this car going upwards of 202 miles per hour. It’s also one of the only 349 F50s ever made – out of which only 50 were built with United States specs. And the condition it’s in is nothing shy of breathtaking. It even comes with the original included toolbox and manuals. You’d better have deep pockets for this one, however, because it’s expected to go for more than $2.2 million. [Purchase]
