Auction Block: Ken Block’s 2002 Subaru WRX STi Rally Car

Though Ken Block officially began his professional rally racing career in 2005, it wouldn’t be until the following year that the Long Beach native and Youtube-famous wheelman’s career would really take off, with Block entering the first-ever X Games rally event, earning his first National Championship Rally win, and famously jumping a car 171’ for a segment on the Discovery Channel’s Stunt Junkies.

These feats were all achieved in a single vehicle: a 2002 Subaru WRX STI Rally racer that was heavily upgraded before being adorned in 2006-gen (Hawkeye) bodywork. This historically significant vehicle can now be yours as it has just crossed the online auction block at an ongoing sale through Wall Street Motorsport in Park City, Utah, where 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Under the hood is a flat-four engine that’s been tuned to around 565hp — a figure made all the more impressive by the car’s 2,775lb curb weight. The gutted interior features RECARO seats with HANS-compatible Sabelt harnesses, a MOMO steering wheel, and carbon fiber door panels. Ken Block’s 2002 Subaru WRX STI Rally Car is available for bidding now, where, (as of the time of writing) the price has reached $49,000 (with more than eight days remaining on the sale).
