Marcello Gandini is one of the most consequential automotive designers of all time, having been largely responsible for inventing the supercar with designs like the sexy Lamborghini Miura and wedge-shaped Lamborghini Countach. And now you have a chance to pick up a trio of rare Gandini-designed Italian beauties of your very own at Stratas Auctions’ upcoming online auction.
Going under the hammer are three 1970s Gandini-penned sports cars. The rarest of the bunch is a 1972 Lamborghini Jarama. One of just 177 ever made, this mostly-original Jarama represents the last front-engine GT car that Lambo ever produced. Next up is a bright orange Alfa Romeo Montreal from 1972. Fully restored in 2014, this vintage Alfa boasts loads of modern mechanical upgrades. Finally, there’s the crown jewel of the collection: a 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale. Only 492 of these homologated versions of the legendary rally car were ever built, and this bright blue example is in exceptional condition, with just 30,000km on the odometer. You can bid on any one car in the trio — along with several other killer rides — at Stratas Auctions’ upcoming online auction on September 8th.
