Elton John’s 1985 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Saloon

It’s no surprise that Sir Elton John has flashy taste. From his quintessential shades to high-brow performances, the Rocketman himself flies above all of us in fashion and flair. His choice in automobiles is no different: an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Saloon.

The car still sports its original paint job of Royal Cherry with matching Magnolia upholstery. and packs a punch thanks to the RSW 7.0-liter engine under the hood and five-speed manual gearbox. The Saloon also only logged about 46,000 miles in its three decades of existence. Meaning two things: it’s been pampered and it’s ready for a long healthy second half of life. Now, as the Saloon gets prepped to be auctioned by Fiskens later this year, you could be tearing up the yellow brick road sooner than you think.
