The team at Icon 4×4 are no strangers to the spotlight, boasting a significant portfolio of builds that illustrate the shop’s greatest strengths. Now, they’ve teamed up with California-based design firm, Autotype, to unleash the newly unveiled Old School BR #63 — a Ford Bronco with 1960s-’70s design cues that embody the company’s rambunctious attitude.
The BR is a classic pairing of performance and design, sporting a proprietary ICON Art Morrison chassis with coil-over suspension, a custom, chassis-mounted spare tire carrier, and a vintage interior that successfully marries a number of aesthetically reengineered details with a timeless, attractive look. In typical ICON fashion, the 5.0L V8 five-speed vehicle has been treated to a slew of aesthetic and performance upgrades, including a set of All Terrain B/F Goodrich T/A KO2 tires, ARB locking differentials, and a sport suspension package with nitrogen-charged Fox Racing shocks and Eibach coils. An improved sound Rockford Fosgate sound system pairs with custom Moore & Giles Carlyle Mushroom upholstery for an exceptionally upgraded interior. The vehicle is up for auction as of February 26, with 10% of proceeds set to benefit the Autotype Scholarship Fund, which aids students currently enrolled in design school.
