Auction Block: 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser R2.8 By Profitt’s Resurrection

A little over a year ago, we stumbled upon the folks at Profitt’s Resurrection and their stupendous 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser R2.8 off-road pickup truck — a build so beautiful, we’re still pining for it. As it turns out, that first glance wasn’t quite the stopping point, as they’ve customized it even further. And now, the complete overlanding-ready 4×4 truck is actually up for sale.

Everything we loved about the original build is still intact to this day — including the Cummins R2.8 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine under the hood that gives it 161 horsepower and 267 foot-pounds of torque, part-time 4WD transfer case, electronic locking differentials, and gargantuan 60-gallon fuel tank. That last bit is made all the more enticing by a few noteworthy new additions, which include a new bed racking system, a Camp King hardshell rooftop tent, a set of Maxtrax recovery devices, 12V Mate portable dual battery system, a fire extinguisher, first aid, and more to make this one of the best overland-ready pickups we’ve ever seen. And it can be yours, so long as you can beat the current $35,000 bid.

Purchase: $35,000+
