As much as we love restomods of Broncos, Land Cruisers, and Defenders, these classics have become almost commonplace nowadays. So when we come across something truly unique, we tend to gaze and gab a bit more — which is exactly the case with this 1972 Chevy C50 dually truck that’s headed to auction.
When it was originally released, the C50 was intended to be a work truck — often equipped with a flatbed or even used to haul trailers. But, the one you see before you, has been heavily modified to transform it into more of a beefed-up daily driver. That included shortening the chassis by a whopping 10 feet (to make it look like the ultra-rare, factory-original, short-wheelbase version), equipping it with a standard 8-foot Chevy bed, and cleaning it up both inside and out. This ride also has its factory original 5.6L V8 engine, a rebuilt carburetor, and has received a complete head-to-tail service. Fully-functional, this unique custom dually could be yours when it heads to auction the weekend of October 4th.
