It’s not every day the words “Nissan” and “classic sports car” get used in the same sentence. Then again, it’s not every day that an ultra rare Fairlady Z 432 gets thrown into the mix at the auction block. It’s one of the rarest and finest automobiles to come from the Japanese auto manufacturer, with only 420 ever produced.
Under the hood is a 1,989cc S20 inline six-cylinder engine pushing out 160hp, a first-generation GT-R powered derivative that just so happens to be one of the rarest around. As a result, this high-revving beauty is a high-energy and lightning fast ride, one that “runs like a scalding cat,” says its owner. The Fairlady was also restored to the highest degree, ready to hit the streets with a vengeance, and finished in the original shade of orange. It’s slated to hit auction next month at Amelia Island in Florida, though no estimated selling price has been released at this time. [Purchase]
