Auction Block: 1965 Toyota FJ45 Pickup Restomod

While we’d all love to stumble upon a nearly untouched classic vehicle in tip top condition, the truth is that’s a harder and harder thing to come by as time keeps on ticking. But that’s why we love restomods – they look like classics, but run like modern marvels. Case in point: this 1965 Toyota FJ45 Pickup… which could be yours.

Believe it or not, this 53-year-old Land Cruiser pickup has only 4,764 miles on the odometer. Or at least, the 390-horsepower LS1 5.7-liter V8 under the hood does, which is just as good. Especially when you consider that the rest of this bad boy underwent a comprehensive restoration from the frame up. It was also given a spring over conversion (that means higher ground clearance), as well as new wheels and tires (with a bonus spare in the bed), a 5-speed manual transmission, a new 23-gallon fuel cell mounted toward the rear, and a front-mounted WARN winch. And that’s just the start. This pristine powerhouse pickup can be yours for $86,900.

Purchase: $86,900
