Atlantic Farms Hops Shampoo

The average beer lover probably doesn’t pay enough respect to hops; but maybe that’ll change, now that the “ripe dried pistillate catkins of a perennial north-temperate zone twining vine of the hemp family” are being used for washing hair as well as making beer better.

Atlantic Farms Hops Shampoo uses a “whopping dose” of certified organic hops flower essential oils along with rosemary, grapefruit and fir needle oils. Each 8 oz. bottle also contains a moisturizing formula of coconut and olive oils that has been “perfectly blended with a proprietary blend of botanicals.” The result: a clean and fresh body with a masculine smell. Not quite as masculine as say, a beer-stained sweatshirt, but in this case that’s a good thing. [Purchase]
