Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster
The Goodwood Festival of Speed has been good to car fans this year, featuring a celebration of BMW’s centenary, the release of the updated VUHL roadster, and the motorsport debut of the Maserati Levante among many others. The British auto makers at Aston Martin also came prepared to present their own exciting vehicle – the Vantage GT12 Roadster.
Certifiably one of one, this car was made to the specific order of a customer by the marque’s bespoke Q division. Put together over a nine month long period, this car features a naturally aspirated V12 engine that pumps 595 horsepower through a single clutch automatic Sportshift gearbox. While the shop did free the car of its top, they left extensive carbon composite on the bodywork of the car to give it that same light feel of the coupe. Beyond being just a fantastic looking car, this goes to show the distances which the Q division is willing to go for their customers.
