Together with Williams Advanced Engineering, Aston Martin has created a 4-seater high-performance battery electric vehicle they have dubbed the Aston Martin Rapide E. Engineers have put an emphasis on effective cooling of the batteries and motor for consistent performance. With twin electric motors, this limited run EV will be their most powerful Rapide model yet.

Aston Martin’s first ever battery electric vehicle will have a production run of just 155 units. The super limited edition car will have an 800V battery electrical architecture and a 65 kWh, 5,600-cell lithium-ion battery pack which will provide 200 miles of range, similar to the range provided by the Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Roadster. It boasts 602 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, both very impressive for a totally electric car. With a sub-4.0 second 0-60 mph time and a 50-70 mph time of 1.5 seconds, this is one of the fastest electric cars on the block.
