Aston Martin, for the entirety of the century they’ve been around, has always been synonymous with both speed and style. Yet, even with our high expectations, they still manage to keep impressing us. Case in point: they’ve just unveiled their fastest convertible ever, the DBS Superleggera Volante.
This drop-top grand tourer boasts a jaw-dropping top speed of 211 mph — and it manages that courtesy of a beastly 5.2L V12 powerplant with an impressive 715-horsepower and over 663 ft-lbs of torque. Those figures also mean it can do 0-62 in just 3.6 seconds. Of course, you might want to refrain from putting the pedal to the metal, because people should also have a chance to gaze upon this car’s beautiful aerodynamic curves and carbon fiber bits as you pass. That includes the convertible top that’s been specially engineered to handle the heat of Death Valley, the chills of the Arctic Circle, and over 100,000 cycles. With availability starting in the fall of this year, this eye-catching convertible starts at $329,100.
