Aston Martin AMR Division

There are a few car manufacturers out there who have smaller specialty-focused subgroups within them. Mercedes-Benz has AMG, BMW has M, and Bentley has Mulliner. For a long time, Aston Martin was one of the brands that wasn’t counted amongst them. But now they’ve announced their own in-house performance division, AMR, through the release of two supremely cool souped-up versions of their cars.

Dubbed the Rapide AMR and Vantage AMR Pro, these cars represent the next step forward in Aston Martin’s development as a vehicle engineering brand. The former boasts an over-591 horsepower 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with a brand-new quad exaust system, making it capable of reaching speeds up to 210 mph. The latter is equipped with an insane GT4 race engine that makes it the most powerful V8 Vantage ever built. Both are done up in AMR’s signature Stirling Green with vibrant lime green accents, carbon fiber, and Dark Knight Alcantara upholstery. Only 210 examples of the Rapide are to be built, while the Vantage is to be limited to just 7. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
