Arc’teryx Konseal FL Hiking Shoes

You could make the argument that ankle support from hiking footwear is of the utmost important. But, in the summer, full-on boots can just be too damn hot and heavy. We’d venture a guess and say that’s why the experts at Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx have unleashed their Konseal FL hiking shoes.

In lieu of ankle support, these half-boots offer up an absurdly-light 10.6-ounce weight per shoe – that’s under 2 pounds total. These minimalist hikers also have a super durable Vibram Megagrip outsole for superior traction, a TPU midfoot chassis and high side walls for excellent stability, a shock-absorbing EVA foam midsole, and so much more. At $165 a pair, these are some of the most impressive warm-weather outdoor shoes we’ve had the pleasure to come across.

Purchase: $165
