OK, now it’s a party. Like waiting on the birthday boy to show up to his own bash, Apple was keeping the smartwatch market waiting for a couple of years now. With the arrival of the Apple Watch, it’s time to cut the cake.

Working in conjunction with the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus, the watch features a flexible Retina display that promises to let you easily scroll through all your apps, media, and messages with signature Apple style on your wrist. Some of the goodies inside include a magnetic charger, health and fitness apps, and a crown that handles zooming and scrolling with a twist. The top-of-the-line edition comes in a casing made of 18-karat gold, while there will be an array of bands to choose from and a range of watch faces and ways to personalize them. The $349 Apple Watch will go on sale early next year. [Purchase]
