Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock

Apple has unveiled and finally released an official magnetic charging dock for the Apple Watch, which allows you to charge your device in a flat position or on its side, thanks to the innovative stand placed in the center of the dock.

When it’s charging on its side, the watch automatically changes into Nightstand mode, allowing you to view the time and use the device as your alarm clock. It uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple’s smartwatch, and charges both the 38mm and 42mm models. It connects via the Lightning to USB cable and USB power wall adapter. It’s only available in an all-white option, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Apple threw in some color in newer models down the line. It’s available now for $79. [Purchase]
