Today marked yet another groundbreaking release of the newest installment of the iPhone family in San Francisco. Unveiling both the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, Apple showcased their most advanced editions yet, chock-full of new features and innovations only an iPhone could pull off with style.

Apple really hit it out of the park when it came to the camera. Both the 7 and 7S are equipped with a 7 megapixel FaceTime camera, while the latter features a dual 12-megapixel camera system with both a wide angle 28mm lens and 56mm lens, offering up to 2x optical zoom along with 10x digital zoom.  There’s even a larger ƒ/1.8 aperture along with a 6-element lens for brighter and more detailed images and video. It also hosts increased battery life and performance thanks to Apple’s new A10 Fusion chip and both phones support up to 25 LTE bands for fantastic worldwide roaming capabilities. And don’t forget the speakers. Each phone now boasts new stereo speakers providing amazing and immersive sound that’s twice as loud as the iPhone 6s. They’re also IP67 water and dust resistant and a solid-state home button that functions with a Taptic engine. They also abandon the headphone jack due to wireless capabilities and has been outfitted with a display that’s 25 percent brighter than previous iterations.

They’re available in several sleek designs in either gold, silver, rose gold or two black finishes. And of course they come stock with iOS 10 hosting a slew of updates the phone’s stock applications including Maps, Photos, Apple Music and Messages. Oh, and now Siri can work within your apps as well. Available in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models. Prices start at $649. The iPhone 7 will be available September 16 with pre-orders starting September 9.
