With each iteration of the iPhone, Apple dives deeper into its coffers to bring consumers unheard-of levels of innovation. While the company’s most recent examples have been somewhat hit or miss, the newly announced iPhone 11 is here to reset consumer expectations when it comes to a quintessential iOS platform.
The iPhone 11 arrives hot off the press with an innovative new dual-camera system that gives consumers access to the highest quality smartphone video recording, ever, Ultra Wide and Wide 4K video capabilities, and an enhanced dynamic range to ensure accurate color capture, low-light performance, and sharpness. Alongside the camera’s updated video enhancements, users will also find Audio Zoom, a newly-implemented technology that matches the audio of a video to its framing, allowing for more dynamic sound. However, these improvements wouldn’t mean anything without a powerful processor to back them up. To ensure adequate performance, Apple has implemented the A13 Bionic, the world’s fastest mobile chip, to provide a 20% faster CPU and GPU performance than its predecessor. Machine Learning Accelerators also help to boost the CPU’s capabilities, allowing the phone to complete up to 1 trillion operations per second. An IP68-rated, 6.1-inch all-screen Liquid Retina display rounds everything out. The Apple iPhone 11 will be available for pre-order starting on September 13 for $699.
