Andy Warhol’s $5.8 Million New York City Town House For Sale

Andy Warhol’s former New York City townhouse has just hit the market, and if you have millions of dollars to put up, this might be the perfect place to call your new home.

The pop art icon purchased the property all the way back in 1959 for a mere $60,000, and had the property designed by Henry Hardenbergh. During his 15 year tenancy, Warhol created some of his most popular and famous pieces from the 3,000 square foot residence including the 1962 rendition of Campbell’s Soup Cans. The home features four bedrooms along with four and a half bathrooms, and has seen two more families occupying the house since Warhol’s days. Of course this thing has been updated throughout the years, and still looks to be in pristine condition. Residing in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood on Lexington Avenue, you can expect to spend just under $5.8 million for the property.
