Amphibicruiser 4WD Amphibious Vehicle

In the movies, amphibious cars are used in high speed chases, with the hero or villain making a great escape via the sea. But in reality, you don’t need fancy looks or blazing speed, you need a vehicle that can confidently cut through a deep stream or handle a massive flood. The Amphibicruiser is answering that call.

Created by Dutch Amfibious Transport, this hand-built, heavy duty 4WD ride is built around a 4.2-liter Toyota Land Cruiser engine, so its off-roading chops are already up to snuff. When your path takes you into the H2O, a simple button push gets the power going to the water jet, propelling the vehicle along at 8 mph. Sure, that’s not blazing, but it certainly beats what most cars and truck do in similar situations—sink. Choose from the $180,000 2-door soft top, or the $248,700 4-door, fully equipped SUV.
