In 2017 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Ford announced that it would be reviving its iconic Bronco model after an almost two-decade hiatus. Reportedly slated for a reveal in the spring of 2020, the news of the new Bronco has thoroughly reinvigorated the public’s proclivity for the American-made SUV. And while rumors continue to swirl of removable doors, manual seven-speed transmissions, and possible hybrid and diesel variants, the folks over at Amazon are capitalizing on the influx of attention the car is receiving by launching an officially-licensed Ford Bronco online store.
Broken into four sections — Gifts & Novelties, Automotive Accessories, Toys & Collectibles, and Apparel — the new online retail space offers all manner of Bronco-flavored items. This includes small knickknacks like Bronco wrapping paper, mugs, luggage tags, keychains, and phone cases, as well as no-less-than-30 apparel items ranging from hats to hoodies to dog bandanas. The store also sells a variety of scale model toys, plus a Traxxas TRX-4 Bronco Trail and Scale Crawler decked out in a glorious and unabashedly ‘80s “Sunset” gradient livery. The new site stocks more than just an RC car, a few shirts, and myriad of Bronco-branded gewgaws, too, as the store is also vending a host of genuine Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts, from restored badges and emblems to larger pieces like full front grille assemblies, tailgates, and quarter and rocker panels.
