For half a decade, Alpinestars has been working relentlessly on an off-road motocross helmet that can go toe-to-toe with dome protectors from Fox Racing and Troy Lee Designs. Their very first motocross helmet is now on the shelves and it’s an impressive, thoughtfully designed skull shield.

Built with a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, which scatters energy exceptionally on impact, this helmet is a reliable protector. It also has an Aramid fiber layer that provides protection from critical penetration in case you take a major spill. Take a look inside and you’ll find a multi-density EPS polymer liner that further absorbs the force of impact. Additionally, the helmet’s four-part construction allows for specific densities of polymer, making the helmet fit comfortably. This lightweight motorcycle helmet also features a patented ‘A-Head Fitment System’ that allows the helmet to be adjusted to your exact specifications. To top things off, it comes with a patented visor release system, allowing the visor to maintain shell integrity under harsh impact from any angle; it can still be released with the right amount of force. If you’re searching for a sleek, tough off-road helmet, look no further.
