Alpa is essentially the Rolls-Royce of the camera world. Since 1946 when they first registered their trademark they’ve been making top tier bodies for professionals. Now, 20 years after the company was purchased and 70 years after it was founded, Alpa is celebrating their long history by releasing an Anniversary Edition Camera.

One of the standouts on the camera has to be the rosewood grips, however, what will catch photo-nerds eyes is the Rodenstock/ALPA HR Alpagon 5.6/70 mm special edition lens. While this setup is dedicated to film, the vintage inspired camera does allow for the use of digital backs for those who want to use the body for modern applications. In addition to these features, the camera body will come in a special edition case full of extras. Those who purchase this package will get a ALPA/Linhof 6×9 roll film back, an ALPA viewfinder, light meter, ground glass, and Fujifilm Acros 100 roll film.
