Allbirds Wool Loungers

A year ago, Allbirds broke onto the scene with a simple sneaker featuring an upper made from high quality, sweat wicking Merino Wool. The durable construction and comfortable fit made them a fast favorite. Now, with summer right around the corner, the San Francisco based company has announced a brand new model – the Allbirds Wool Loungers.

Described by the founders as their Wool Runner after a couple of drinks, these flat slip on shoes have a fun and casual vibe to them that seem tailor made for the warmer months. And yeah. We know. Wool doesn’t seem like a great summer fabric, but this Merino upper actually boasts both odor fighting and temperature regulating properties while also retaining a more slim, casual construction. While only two colorways are available now, we can only imagine that they’ll be releasing more throughout the coming year. Keep your eyes peeled or pick up one either their blue or green silhouette now.
