Alite Sierra Shack Pop-Up Tent

There is a reason that every corny movie about or involving camping includes a joke about someone getting all caught up in a tent. The overnight camping mainstay can be notoriously difficult to put together. Alite Designs built the new Sierra Shack tent with the intention of bucking that trend.

This easy to set up tent simply pops open once you unfold it, and requires only one tent pole across the top in order to stabilize. Gone are the days where you had to spend an hour to get just one part of your camp site ready to go. To sweeten the deal, the Sierra Shack can zip together with other tents in order to make a larger shelter for a large group. Constructed from a combination of polymer and mesh material, and measuring in at 4 feet high with a 7 by 4.8 foot floor, it’s spacious enough for a couple people to share. Who knows – if this thing gets popular enough maybe we’ll all be spared those tired tent jokes. Prices are set at $120. [Purchase]
