Alieno’s 5,000+HP 300+MPH All-Electric Hypercar Is One Step Closer To Being Real

In 2018, Bulgarian firm, Alieno pulled the cover off of its wildly-futuristic “Arcanum” Hypercar, though with a claimed horsepower output of over 5,000 and a top speed exceeding 300mph, it was difficult to determine if the Balkan hypercar represented the future of high-performance motoring, or if it was simply an ambitious case of vaporware that would never come to fruition. Fast forward two-years-later to today and Alieno has revealed the latest iteration of the Arcanum, showing off a completed interior.

Looking like an even more exotic version of the Aventador, the Arcanum’s newly-revealed interior is more cockpit than cabin, with an elaborate backlit instrumentation setup and equally sleek carbon Kevlar-laden driver controls and seating. Not only is the spaceship-esque interior a feast for the eyes, but the continued work behind the 5,000hp hypercar seems to suggest that these next-level vehicles may actually see production. Drawing energy from supercapacitor-backed graphene LiPo cells, the inaugural Alieno packs a 634-mile range, and up to six electric motors per wheel, allowing for a mind-blowing 6,500ft-lbs of torque and 5,221hp. Expected to be priced at around $1.755M, the Alieno Arcanum is currently available for preorder.
