People who fly coach wish they could fly business class. People who fly business class wish they could fly in first. People who fly in first? This is what they dream about after eating that nice veal dinner and enjoying a great whiskey; the Airbus x Pagani Infinito Jet Cabin.
Designed for the Airbus ACJ319neo, this flying palace features a moon roof (or skylight?), a large dining room table, and luxurious seating throughout the cabin. The moon roof isn’t exactly real, but a series of seamlessly mounted screens that feed in a high resolution real-time display of the outside of the plane. This gives the entirety of the cabin a light and open feel – something more reminiscent of a high class train than an airplane. Of course, that ‘high-class’ feel is thanks to the hypercar maker Pagani. Horacio Pagani, the founder and designer of the automobile maker, said that the influence for the cabin, much like the influence for their cars, harkened from the Renaissance. The combination of art and science, Horacia says, informed decisions like using a special CarboTitanium throughout the cabin, as well as the transparent lounges. No word on if this will be produced or if it’ll remain among the counting sheep of the rich.
