Built within the Backcountry Shovel’s modular design is a sharp hatchet, a hammer, a handle pole for the hatchet, and a saw in addition to the shovel. It’s made from high-quality carbon rolled steel and Adventure Mate guarantees this thing free from any defects in materials or workmanship. As for the dimensions, the saw features a 6.7” blade, the hammer has a 1-inch diameter head and the hatchet is composed of top-of-the-line blade steel.
