To this day, Adidas reigns supreme as one of the most influential and transcendental athletic companies in the world. In order to reflect its commitment to the world of groundbreaking human capability, the brand has decided to renovate its Institut National du Sport, de l’Expertise et de la Performance (INSEP) — a “house for life” that serves to support athletes throughout their daily endeavors.
Calling upon the design-focused minds at Paris, France’s Ubalt Architects, the unique headquarter has been reevaluated with colors and architectural influences derived from the brand’s visual identity. Throughout the facility, metal, stone, and modern furniture pieces serve to separate various areas, providing a natural, but contrasting balance between the warmer living/social areas and their utilitarian counterparts. Inside the locker room and shower area, visitors are treated to a cleanly-tailored atmosphere defined by sandstone and white tile overlay, pairing well with the dwelling’s various white/blue Adidas x INSEP logos, iconography, and branding pieces.
