Adidas decided to do away with the bulky, traditional construction process that many boot makers have adopted, and instead opted for a lightweight hiker in the Terrex Climaheat Ultimate Boost Boots.
Tipping the scales at just 480g, these boots are not only lightweight, but also extremely durable. The upper is built from ripstop with a TPU lip ready for snowshoe compatibly, and includes the brand’s Climaheat technology – which is a combination of PrimaLoft isolated mated to a molded collar. To help further combat the elements, the waterproof Climaproof stretchy membrane will keep your feet dry in the wettest of conditions. On the bottom end the Boost midsole provides all day comfort while the Continental rubber outsole lets you tackle any terrain with ease. The boots retail for $200. [Purchase]
