Adidas Winterizes The Stan Smith With GORE-TEX’s Latest Insulation Tech

Category: Style

When it comes to sneakers, Adidas is one of the brands sitting at the royal table reserved for legends. One of their most iconic silhouettes is the Stan Smith, and they’re improving upon the design with their upcoming release. The Adidas Stan Smith GORE-TEX Infinium Thermium Shoes preserves the classic and clean aesthetic of the beloved model while upgrading its functionality.

These cold-weather ready Stan Smith shoes utilize GORE-TEX’s latest creation dubbed Infinium Thermium, which is an extremely thin membrane used in the toe box to give you incredible insulation. This new material will help your feet battle the winter weather while allowing your toes to breathe. The shoes are constructed from all-white leather uppers and white rubber cup soles, contrasting the green Trefoil logo heel tabs nicely. There’s no word on price yet for these tennis shoes, but you’ll know soon enough, as they drop on October 5.
