Adidas Stan Smith Boost

The Stan Smith silhouette is as much a canvas as it is a shoe. There have been an almost uncountable number of iterations on the timeless sneaker, some great, some maybe not worth recounting – but all interesting. The newest iteration, the Adidas Stan Smith Boost sneaker, come across as being among one of the better updates so far.

Everything about the upper is as you would expect it – leather with a rubber cupsole, three perforated stripes along the midfoot side panels, and a green heel tab. What sets it apart is the midsole. Adidas has switched out the old midsole for their beloved Boost technology – adding a degree of comfort and responsiveness you’d never otherwise get while wearing a classic shoe. Outside of just the feel it provides the shoe, the unique textured look of the Boost cushioning gives it a subtle change, but an interesting one all the same. You can get these online now for $120.
