Adidas SpringBlade Performance Running Shoe

It’s always nice to see innovation within the athletic footwear sector, and that’s exactly what the team at Adidas have done with their all new Adidas SpringBlade running shoe.

They might look a bit weird at first glance (due to the blades located where the outsole would normally be), but they were created with performance in mind. The 16 individually tuned blades were built for higher energy return, helping to propel runners forward along with providing ample support during each and every one of the runner’s strides. The Adidas Innovation Team have rigorously tested the shoe, and concluded that the SpringBlade is also seven times more temperature resistant than shoes that utilize standard EVA cushioning. This technology comes at a price though, and Adidas plans on charging $180 for these kicks through their online store.
