There are a number of running shoes that aim to keep you protected when training in inclement weather, but few of these examples rise to the occasion quite like Adidas’ Pulseboost HD. If you didn’t fancy the original’s striking silhouette, maybe the inclusion of a new, high-performance textile will sway your opinion.
To bring the Pulseboost HD in-line with the industry’s leading runners, Adidas has opted to dress them in a water-repellent ballistic nylon skin. This, alongside a handful of other technical upgrades, like a durable, ballistic nylon upper, a Continental Adaptive Traxion outsole developed by artificial intelligence, and the company’s revered cushioned Boost technology, help to catapult the Pulseboost HD into the limelight for individuals who are serious about year-round training. Adidas will release the shoe in two winter-ready colorways — one in black/neon-yellow, and the other in grey/pink — on October 10.
